Training School, March 26-30, 2018, Siófok, HungaryAfter the great success of the first two training school events of the e-MINDS project, hereby we announce the 3rd e-MINDS Training School which will be held at the shore of the Lake Balaton in Hungary between 26-30 March 2018. The chief local organizer is László Péter (MC member from Hungary, Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Hungarian Academy of Sciences; also the training course coordinator of the COST program).
Traditionally, the training course event includes three education modules. This year, these blocks and their confirmed key lecturers are as follows:
- Organic and bio-organic functionalization of electrodes

- Deposition modes and bath formulation

On the weekends, the M3 metro line is replaced by a bus service due to a renovation work.
Price for the 100E express bus differs from the regular ticket price. For each segment of your trip, you must validate one ticket.

For the direct trains, for the direct bus as well as various train connections from Budapest to Siófok on 25 March (Sunday), refer to the TravelGuide.
If possible, please use the direct connections. Take care of purchasing the appropriate train ticket (e.g., for fast trains, seat reservation may be compulsory etc.)
Taxi service within Budapest:
Use the certified yellow cabs only which operate with a uniform rate.
Taxi or minibus to Siófok:
Ask for the advice of the local organizer. If you cannot fly to Budapest but to Vienna only, remember that a taxi/minibus ride to Siófok costs approximately the same price from either capital cities. Such services are typically provided by Siófok-based small transportation companies.
